I have found a local guy business in welcome bay that is moving to oz and they are getting rid of a a lot of decent household items (over 100 items) from large to small.
I want to offer this to the local wb communtiy at price of $2 per item.

the money goes to the local guy, but the local people get a bargain. is this legal?
the major gain for the centre is the awrenss. AWARENESS IS THE HARDEST TO DO
money is easy gain MORE IMPORTANT PEOPLE/COMMUNITY KNOW THE LOCATION OF THIER LOCAL COMMUNITY CENTRE/HUB

PODCAST Room – Centre can set up a room for local creators to uses at a hire rage rate or online promo content. *Bit of a out of the square approach but might work…

SAVING MONEY does the centre has VIP accounts etc for example – SPOTLIGHT has a “vip” membership. Centre should sign up to all the Money Saving clubs/memberships. Spotlight,Briscoes,repco,countdown etc

Monthly News Letter via email – content in the News letter. -Fun fact about the suburb – event happening & on future – local legend – Promote a couple local business & bit of a story etc –

IF To Much bread – Do a cheese toastie fundraiser – buy the cheap processed cheese and your away with abit of marge.

ask BANK if possible to set up a automatic payment FREE wehn doing it for a community centre. Is that possible?

When having dumping of objects etc at the Centre – Posts from Centres across the country are negative, I think the post should start with a positive, then re affirming centres are here for people (spish pep that dump) then saying if they need to dump please let us know and we can most likely assist. Possible have a list of near buy clothing bins on Window?

Goals for Centre in 3 months – 6 months – 3 years – 6years .

Donation Box at the local Garden Centre Have a box by the checkout or entrance – BOX looking a certain look pos county style quality. Check out people ask if they what to donate something next time they shop

Cheese toasting Fundraiser – Go to local Businesses and sign them up for a taostie then on the designated day all orders will be ready for pick up midday – Easy no fuss fast yummy lunch and supporting community. Cook up each batch (1-6 toasties) have keep warm in oven then have a certain time that will be PICK UP –

Bicycle Service / SkateBoard / Scooter Service etc – Repair basic issues OR bike drop off point for local bike business to pick up .

Focus on the Niche/unique parts of reserve and Sell/Amp them up .

something great once a month the community can do for moral – even if not making money at least your doing something meaningful supporting community, even just the presence itself is amazing. simple to get out of the house and etc.is healthier for them mentally & physical . small steps add up.

Create More Community Markets linked to the Community center- MY NEXT PROJECT / IDEA- To Do the Glenview Community Markets. I have Worked with and donated over $400 towards this Well keeped Community Hub

The Location of the Glenview Community Centre is near central. With the future developments of properties etc 15years time a market here will be well put. Mainly because of the central location. Locations are Key . The parking and extended parking working with locals. This Market is Once a month- For Arts & Craft/creatives/Minimum food trucks at this point . A small little busy Markets for the locals to make money, get out of the house etc. Some free entertainment in simple terms & developing locals exp in real world trade to hopefully get them ready for the real world or just a basic idea or inspire future business mentors etc. DEPENDING INTEREST- MARKET WILL BE — ONCE A MONTH or ONCE EVERY 2 MONTH.

BILLBOARDS & Free advertising. Can we use the Rubbish Bin for a placement of a Poster – Promoting the Welcome Bay Community Markets – Dates/Times etc. The Design of the Bin being Square and of larger Size is perfect for a poster. The previous round Bins were not. The murals done around on powerboxes etc. Gives me the ideas and hope that we can do this. The Rubbish signage on the Bin will not be touched or covered. Still clear to read.

SLAM POETRY has session on slam poetry . People attend in the centre etc. there is a PA system provided by me or the centre. with microphone.

The Profit/funds isn’t that high but these donuts are a big draw card to help increase attendance, resulting more sales for local small business/creators

Why I believe the WBCM should receive funding

The markets in Welcome bay has the greatest value of being able to attend to everyone.

one example – Solo Parents Can Have a stall and the Park/playground/b ball court is close enough they can have the kids other in Playground etc while they have a stall. *those of appropriate age unsupervised OR they take a older cousin to watch their kids while.

They are participate in Community Market event, meeting locals, potential for some money making, exposure for there product etc.

example 2 – Elderly, The Markets are a place where the elderly can also particpate in community, meet locals, get out of the house etc.
nothing to over stressing , a nice day out and also bit of pocket money.

Single men/people – This is a activity where single men/people can go out and meet people without being drunk or wasting money on dating apps, connecting with community, meeting locals and increase friend / social circle.

kids can participate with supervision of caregiver, great to learn about money , business , also learn about community pride etc,seeing community be a positive impact .

Another major benefit is the Mass and easy parking for the stall holders and the people.

The Markets has a million dollar view , hard to beat and so Beautiful. A Petrol station right by for Convenience

I believe we can make this markets on the par of TLB , Numbers of stalls increase due to the Newly upgraded park right next to the Markets & Community centre,
the Markets could go outdoors , more promotion I feel this Market could be a long term monthly event for decades , Try to make it part of the WB Culture.
